For the NC Tomorrow Initiative to be successful in the Region B, we will need the involvement from stakeholders all across the region, and we welcome your participation in the process. There are several ways you can get involved in our regional CEDS:
Recognized by the U.S. Economic Development Administration as the region’s Economic Development District, LOSRC is responsible for creating a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The CEDS will serve as the fundamental plan for our agency’s economic development efforts for the next five years.
The survey is divided into two parts. Part One is the statewide effort to gather demographic information about you, the participant. At the end of Part One, you will be directed back to this site to link to Part Two, which will focus on our regional community, and issues that are important to all jurisdictions and the communities we serve.
We encourage you to join us in this regional and statewide process to help strengthen our resilience, grow our economy, and create new jobs for our citizens. Your input is critically valuable to the focus and direction LOSRC and others will take in the coming years, so please participate with your thoughtful consideration.

Throughout the process we will be hosting a number of meetings to solicit public comment on the CEDS drafts. If you would like to participate, check our website for more information about the meeting dates and times, or contact us to sign up for email notifications.
