For the N.C. Tomorrow Initiative to be successful in our region, we need participation from our stakeholders from all areas of our nine county region. We welcome and encourage all to participate in this process. There are several ways you can get involved in our 2012 regional CEDS:
Throughout the update process will we be hosting 4 public open houses and a number of focus groups. If you wish to participate, check our website for upcoming meeting dates and times, or sign up to be on our email list.
We will be posting drafts of our 2012 Regional CEDS on this website and the CEDC website throughout the update process.
As part of the statewide CEDS process, each Regional Council will be issuing a survey created by the N.C. Association of Regional Councils. The survey is designed to help us gain an understanding of what stakeholders see are the most import issues and challenges to economic development are in the Centralina region. Centralina’s survey is live and ready for your input, also please forward the survey to those in our region that can provide valuable input on our economic barriers. Survey is currently closed.
